2. User Responsibilities

Property Owners:

  • Must provide accurate property details and legal ownership documents.
  • Must authorize Lavender Properties Kenya to act on their behalf in managing the property.
  • Are responsible for ensuring the property complies with Kenyan housing laws.

Tenants/Renters:

  • Must adhere to lease agreements, including timely rent payments and property care.
  • Must report maintenance issues promptly.

Website Users:

  • Must not engage in fraudulent activities, hacking, or unauthorized access.
  • Must provide truthful information when using contact forms or inquiry systems.

3. Fees & Payments

  • Management fees, commissions, and service charges will be outlined in a signed Management Agreement.
  • Late rent payments by tenants may incur penalties as per the lease terms.
  • We reserve the right to adjust service fees with 30 days’ written notice to clients.

4. Privacy Policy

5. Limitation of Liability

Owners are encouraged to obtain landlord insurance for additional protection.

6. Termination of Services

  • Property owners may terminate the management agreement with 30 days’ written notice, subject to any contractual obligations.
  • We reserve the right to terminate services for breach of contract, illegal activities, or non-payment of fees.

7. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through mediation in Nairobi, Kenya.

  • If unresolved, disputes will be settled in Kenyan courts under Kenyan law.

8. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our Website or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
